Olive oil, the heart of our bar soap.
Long before "castile" was a soap-aisle word, it was just what you did with good olive oil and a strong lye. Our bar soaps lean on olive oil and olive pomace oil — not the extra-virgin grade you would want on a salad, but exactly the fatty-acid profile a bar of soap actually needs. It is slower to lather and gentler on skin than almost anything else we could build a bar on.
